Jody leads our Sunday morning services, our Lead Team, Deacons and Deaconesses and the church staff, as well as many other ministries within the church. Jody has a heart for people, is a great listener and brings a passion and vision for reaching the lost.
Kent’s passion for ministry was born out of 20 years of ministry in the workplace. His talents and skills have been a great asset in the development of new ministries and strategic planning at MLAC. His ministry responsibilities include oversight of church operations and personnel, membership classes, Men's and Women's Ministry, buildings and grounds, vehicles and other areas.
Scott’s passion is to use the arts to direct people’s attention to the Living God and to challenge them to view worship as a lifestyle.
A graduate of Cedarville University in Ohio where he studied Church Music Ministry with an emphasis in voice, Scott received a Master of Arts in Religion from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Chicago, Illinois in 2003. He loves music, serving in the church and spending time with family, and because of this has developed a healthy addiction to Starbuck’s Coffee. Scott and his wife, Alisa, and their two children, Ella and Elijah, moved here from Raleigh, North Carolina in the fall of 2005. Since then, the family has grown with the addition of their daughter, Adeline, in the summer of 2008.
Michael is a native of Ohio and a graduate of Youngstown State University with a degree in Secondary Education. He taught high school science for three years before being called to full-time ministry. Michael received a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies (New Testament) from Ashland Theological Seminary in Ashland, Ohio in 2003. He came to Moses Lake Alliance Church in the fall of 2006 from Brunswick, Maryland where he pastored Rosemont Alliance Church for three years. Michael oversees student ministries from grades 5 through college age with an emphasis on high school ( Dunamis). He loves seeing young adults grow into fully devoted disciples of Christ. Michael is a devoted fan of the Ohio State University Buckeyes and the Pittsburgh Steelers. He loves sports of all kinds and especially enjoys playing golf and his guitar in his spare time. Michael and his wife Jessica are the proud parents of a daughter, Mackenzie.
Pam has a great heart and love for children and a deep desire to lead them to Christ. Her ministry at MLAC brings excellence to all kid’s activities which include Sunday School and Wednesday night’s Kids Club from nursery up to grade 4. She has developed the growing ministry of Happy Hearts Preschool and as the preschool teacher has lovingly nurtured little ones for many years.
Andy loves working with youth! He has a passion for investing in the lives of young people and teaching them what it means to walk with Christ. Before becoming an intern, and then a coordinator, Andy volunteered his time in the summer to work with our students. He now directs ministry for students in the 5th-6th grade (The Zone) and Middle School grades 7 & 8 (The Rock).
The church office is a busy place; however, Darlene cheerfully keeps things running smoothly. She assists the pastoral staff as well as produces the weekly bulletin and monthly newsletter. In addition, she assists the treasurer/bookkeeping departments. She is a very talented organizer and puts her skills to good use.
Denise is our friendly voice of the church. She is in the office ready to greet our guests in person or by phone. Denise also assists the pastoral staff in areas of ministry. We appreciate her readiness to help and sweet spirit.
